  • Where are you based?
    We are based in the South East of England, United Kingdom.
  • What are the guidelines for using Splodge Spores products safely?
    This will depend on the country you are in. We are based in the UK and adhere to all laws and regulations, in regards to growing mushrooms. Some species are illegal to grow in the UK, cultivating these species in the UK is classed a misusing our products and will lead to refusal of service. However laws and regulations vary by country, so if you are not in the UK please contact regulators and research the laws of your country so you can maintain compliance of your jurisdiction.
  • What Mushrooms are legal to grow?
    Any Mushroom that contains the psychoactive ingredient; Psilocybin is ILLEGAL to grow! Our products are meant for responsible and legal use ONLY. The proper use guidelines are included on our website. Please make sure you read and understand them before use. Misuse can result in damage to the product, potential health hazards and non compliance of laws and regulation. Which our company is against.
  • What counts as a misuse of products?
    Misuse of products includes, but is not limited to: 1. Using products for purposes other than those indicated in our guidelines. 2. Neglecting to follow safety instructions provided with each product. 3. Modifying the product in any way without approval from Splodge Spores. 4. Using the product in conjunction with any illegal substances or activities.
  • I sent you an email, but have received no reply?
    We take pride in our customer service, so we will always try to reply to your email as fast as we possibly can. If you do not get a response to your question within 24 hours, please do contact us again and make sure to check your spam folder just in case. Alternatively, you can contact us via the messaging icon on the bottom right of your screen.
  • None of my questions have been answered, how do I get in touch with you?
    Apologies If we could not answer any of your questions. please contact us via the contact page. We are always happy to help and look forward to hearing from you. 😊
  • How long can Liquid cultures be stored?
    There will be an expiry date on any gourmet liquid culture syringe, please store in the fridge, can be stored for up to a year. DO NOT FREEZE.
  • Where are Splodge Spores growing products made?
    All Splodge Spore growing products are made here in the UK, under ISO cleanroom conditions.
  • How do I use your products?
    There are many guides and videos relating to the cultivation of gourmet mushrooms and prepping slides for scientific and microscopic purposes, on the web. If you have questions that haven't been covered, then please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re always working on improving our teaching resources to help people grow better, so your feedback is invaluable!
  • My product arrived damaged or is missing, what do I do?
    If an item arrived damaged or was missing from your parcel, please contact us so we can assist you better. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Can I return my order?
    We do not accept returns, however if you are unhappy in any way please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to resolve any issues you may have/ be having.
  • What are your payment options?
    We offer a number of different secure and hassle-free payment options. If you have any further questions or need help making a payment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
  • How will you confirm my payment?
    Once your payment has been received by us, we will email you an order confirmation to confirm the purchase. If you do not receive a payment confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us and make sure to check your spam folder just in case.
  • Why did payment fail, when I have the money in my account?
    The most common cause of failed payments is the incorrect billing address or postal code. When paying, make sure your postal code matches the one registered to your card. If the amount was deducted from your balance, it will be returned within 24 hours.
  • Do you ship overseas?
    We ship globally, however outside UK shipping fees will incur a shipping fee.Shipping costs will vary depending on location.
  • How long does delivery take?
    We ship our orders with Royal Mail within 24 hours after getting an order in. You will receive a dispatch email with tracking info once the order has been sent, so that you can keep up to date with its progress. Royal Mail should usually take 2-3 days to deliver.
  • How can I check on my order status?
    The easiest way to keep up to date with the progress of your order is to make an account with us. There you can log in and check payment status, dispatch date and access your tracking information. We will also send you an email at each step of the process. If you have not received an email from us, it is worth checking your junk mail as often they’ll be hiding there. If not, please get in touch with us and a member of our team will be happy to assist.
  • Do you ship orders discreetly?
    We at Splodge Spores have the utmost respect for your privacy. All orders are sent with discreet protective packaging, ensuring your privacy and protecting your order during transit.
  • Royal Mail tracking not working?
    You will be provided with a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email. But don’t be confused if you can’t track it on the Royal Mail website. An update on the tracking will only be shown once Royal Mail attempts delivery of your parcel.
  • How does things work with international customs?
    We very rarely have issues with shipments from our international customers. But since each country has different importation laws, it might be worth confirming with your customs office to avoid any parcel holds & delays.
